The start of it all for us in Standards - We obtained Holly from Ravendune Kennels and she was our foundation. Healthy until the day she passed away at 14 years old, she was all what I wanted in a standard poodle. She had a wonderful temperament, which she passed on to her children, and was an absolutely wonderful producer. In limited breeding, she became a top producer very quickly.

Confetti winning a Variety

Confetti at Poodle Club of America 1994 - Breeder/Owner handled
Confetti went out with Kim Russell and quickly became our first homebred champion. She exemplified what I think a standard should be -
big bodied and sound, leggy, standing on tight, catlike feet, with an absolutely beautiful head and a delightful temperament.
Confetti was just as successful in the whelping box as she was in the show ring, giving us our incomparable, puppy champion, Ch. Targa In the Net ("Nina"),
as well as the foundation for Phyllis Blair's Grandeur kennel, Ch. Targa Lady Blair.

Rox is pictured winning a Variety win as a puppy
Breeder/Owner Handled
Rox was a littermate to Confetti and our second home-bred champion. Rox had a gorgeous headpiece and was very leggy and elegant. Rox earned her first points breeder/owner handled winning a Variety from the puppy class. She then finished in a wink under the expert guidance of Kim Russell. Rox was bred to our wonderful stud dog, Bastille, and gave us some lovely puppies with which we carried on our breeding program. Her son, Targa King Creole (Elvis), was a stallion of a dog, and produced some of our current stars.

Grace was a lovely, feminine girl, who finished her championship under Kim Russell's guidance.
She made her mark in the whelping box, giving us our Ch. Targa Devil In Disguise, as well as Ravendune Rosanna Danna and Ch. Ravendune's Amazing Grace.

Nina was a show stopper from the minute she hit the ground!
She went out to California to be shown by Kim Russell and earned her title in just a few shows from the puppy class,
including a BOW and Best Puppy in Show at the Las Vegas Poodle Club for a whopping 5 point major.
Nina was all her mother, Confetti, was, with a touch more refinement and beauty to her headpiece.
She is a great-aunt to our handsome boy, Ch. Grandeur Boogie Back to Targa.
